Does the American Dream exist? Jack Wild thinks so, the day he steps off the bus from small-town Arizona into the San Francisco bustle where hip twenty-somethings are making millions off the dot-com boom. The problem is the boom just went bust. So what’s a guy with a business degree with a couple hundred in the bank supposed to do in the city with no friends, no place to live and no job? That’s Jack’s problem. The City follows the lives of Jack and his future housemates as they struggle to find success in modern urban America.
